gawd I’m so pissed right now .
I mean , Damn .So True Tears , my favorite anime of the season was announced to have been Licensed by Bandai Visual USA , along with Shigofumi a few minutes ago .
The anime is still Airing , so of course normally this would be a good news .
But then there is “Bandai ” and “Visual” plus ” USA” .
well all know that the mathematical equation of Bandai + Visual + USA = PURE EVIL ON EARTH .
I mean , Bandai by itself equals EVIL .
So anyway , They plan on releasing True Tears in 7 DVDs for 13 episodes ! O_o
The first DVD will contain ONLY 1 EPISODE for a price of 29.99$
while the other 6 will have 2 EPISODES EACH for a price of 39.99$ .
That’s basically 270$ for 13 Episodes or 5h of anime.
What’s going on ? What is this ? are we in Japan ?
Then they complain that the anime industry is Dying , well no sh*t Sherlock .

Yo Kuro. Sry I haven’t checked your blog inawhile (despite the fact that you helped me out with wordpress and stuff),
And yeah licensing is annoying like this.
I really like Shigofumi and I really don’t like the fact that I’m going to have to wait for a while for the only anime that I really want to buy now (so the price will go down).

I’m debating about whether or not I will buy Shigofumi. The one sure thing is that i doubt the price will ever go down for BVUSA’s dvd . I guess time will tell.
