OK..so for the title name i wanted to say something fancy…is that crime ?
anyway , here is Gundam Z the movie II ( better ? )

 

 

 

 

so , as you can see , the movie start with a katsu’s yawn . he’s actually watching the horizon with goggles ( no , not the search engine ) when suddenly , a biplane arrive and says it’s gonna land on the Audhumla .

now that Kamikaze beltrochika has appeared , the movie can start

Beltrochika’s plane is caught by the Hyakku Shiki ,which pull it to be reception-ed by the Rick Dias.
meanwhile , somewhere on earth , Rosamia his still to high on drugs and think the AEUG want to drop colony on earth as if they just had that to do

drug’s are bad !
anyway , after Beltrochika is introduced, the director decide to fast forward the story to beltrochika kissing Amuro

Quattro then appear and Amuro ask if he can lend him a MS . while in the elevator , they get to talk about the past , and are thinking about doing a BBQ next Saturday .
Quattro then evoke Lalah and we get to see her last moment..( once again )

(you know , it’s like Nicol’s death in gundam seed , they liked his death so they putted it in every single episode )
Now it’s time to go to space , so they launch to get into the shuttle that are going to send Katz , Quatto and Kamille in space

but as they are about to launch , Kamille decide to wait for Katz and so take of to give Amuro the time to deliver Katz to the ship .

Then Katz points a gun amuro just gave him at char in order to get them into space.
so..those bastar they left Kamille on earth . As he fight Rosamia he get his Newtype intuition and shoot her in the leg thus destroying her mobile suit ( yea..in the leg )

Then the shuttle reach space and is recuperated by the Argama.
next frame is the Destroy gundam Psycho Gundam arriving on the Sudori . Four introduce herself and Request that she is allowed to do as she pleas otherwise she is going back to japan .

Then , we see Amuro talking to Miria about embarking on the Audhumla to go see Bright , but she refuse because she doesnt want to involve her kids into the war . aff..who cares about that ? look Beltrochika in Chinese dress :

and again

oops , that one was Four.

 

As Amuro and Beltrochika are taking their times, Four ask for a Ride to Kamille.

 

Soon enough , Kamille goes out secretly to go see Four . both of them have fun and Four ask Kamille for a Kiss.

Then , as the two are talking about Four’s past , the Destroy gundam Psycho gundam appears and Four escape .

Kamille try to follow her , but loses her . he then decide to use a Bike flash to get the attention of the Rick Dias piloted by Amuro . Amuro take him to the Audhumla and Kamille take off with the Mk.II . As he approach the Destroy gundam Psycho gundam , he realize that Four is the one piloting it .

 

 

 

She tries to get him and both gundams fall into water.

 

 

 

Kamille then get out of the Mk.II and go talk to Four. She open the cockpit and they talk again about her past . She then close the hacth , and kamille fall into water. since he is from space , he doesn’t know how to swim and die and Kamille return to his Mk.II . but as some High-zaku’s get in his way , Four get the chance to escape .
On the Argama , they are making preparation to go into earth’s orbit .

(note Bright’s professionalism : Showing up on the command bridge in boxer…cool )

 

On earth , the Sudori make his final preparation to counter the Audhumla . They pan on making a suicide attack on it if Four was to fail .

The fight then start , Mk.II vs Psycho once again. the Psycho catches the Mk.II . Kamille gets out of the Mk.II to go talk to Four , on his way he unfortunately fall from the gundam and no one can catch him . he regrettably died when he reached the ground He tell her about his sad life on the Colony . and Four as him if he like his name now . and he reply :

then , she point a gun at him so that he gets out of Psycho and return to his gundam. She his planning to help him reach space.

She then take the Psycho and crashes it into the Sudori .

and She program the Booster to launch , but she gets shot in the head.

 

 

Kamille then go reach the booster to program the destination

 

 

and then Launch , and the Sudori explode , and you see Four corpse falling as Kamille gets into space .

 

 

The Argama is there to receive him , and then they return to space .

 

 

 

After this , we see Jerid and Maeur trying out their new Gabtlhey .

 

meanwhile Sciroco ask Sarah to convoke them .

 

as Sciroco is leaving , ( and note remember what she say’s ) , she say’s :

 

Sciroco then explain his plan to Jerid and Maeur and they start attacking the Argama .

 

The Murasai fire

 

on Reccoa ( who pilot the Methus ) and she order Fa ( who pilot the G-defenser , i repeat , Fa pilot the G-defenser ) to go to the Argama .

 

During the fight , Emma’s Dias get shot down

,and Kamille is having trouble against Jerid .

Reccoa is also having trouble with a murassai

, when suddently a Mobile armor appears . It’s Apoly who came to the rescue .

 

As kamille is floating into space , someone in a Carrier come to pick him . and Fa is in the carried . now i don’t know if she s a magician , but how can someone be at two place at the same time ? O_o

 

 

After the battle , Apolly tease Kamille a bit , but the tell him that to make up for it , he will offer him the Zeta .

 

 

 

note the the G-defender disappeared .

 

Kamille then tries to kiss Fa , but he can’t since they have the helmet .

 

 

Sarah then arrive on the Argama with a white flag saying she deserted the Titans because they plan on trowing a Colony on the moon .

 

 

Meanwhile , on earth , Blex Commodore is assassinate by Jamitov.

 

 

Returning in space , the battle is starting when Katz bring a Suit the the captive Sarah . She tells him she would like to see his newtype ability , so he bring her to her hi-zack so that he can show her . but she turned out to be spy ( ¬_¬ )and deceived him ( ¬_¬ ).

 

 

that’s Right..shoot on a MS with a gun..that i really useful .

 

Yazan appears and give some trouble to Kamille , when a women voice tell him how to defeat him .

 

 

But the battle is not over and Jerid assault him .

 

 

As kamille has Jedir in a good shoot angle , he shoot’s

 

 

but Mauer use her MS to protect jerid and dies .

thanks to Emma , the Colony won’t fall on the city

 

Kamille then explain how oddly he heard fa’s voice telling him where to shoot ( against yazan ) at the same time she said it ( while talking with Katz ) and Emma tease him saying he is a newtype .

 

Katz , who has helped a spy to escape is to be locked up for sometimes even tough he told kamille how Yazan weak spot )

 

Wong , Quattro , Brigh and Henken have a meeting about the situation.

Wong says that the remaining Zeon forces , Axis was going to ally with the titans , but if they could go and negotiate with them before the titans arrive it would be an advantage for the AUEG. Wong propose that the Argama goes to Axis , however Bright his watching a video of his family and doesn’t pay much attention ( i told you , this guy is a professional )

 

Soon after that , Qumu and Shynta decide to go play hide and seek . Fa is worried that they went in the city ( on the moon ) , so Kamille and her go look for them . At the same time , Sarah went to pose a bomb on the ventilation circuit. As she is going back , Kamille catches her and they decided to talk .

 

Then Kamille reproach her to have made Katz suffer , and as he was going back to the Argama , she stop him. Kamille then realized something is odd and she tell him about the bomb. Kamille could prevent the Argama in time .

however the Argama is seriously damaged by the blast and cannot repair .

As Sarah is being captive again , Kamille ask her what was Scirroco purpose and called him ” the man from Jupiter ” which upsets Sarah .

 

now if you remembered as i said to , not too long ago she was calling him “someone from Jupiter” as well .

 

As Shinta and Qumu were playing Hide and seek in the same room Sarah is held captive , they free her so that “she can defend the Argama” ..but meh…who can blame kids ?

 

Sometimes after the battle , Quattro goes ask Reccoa to support his Mega particles Canon with the MEthuss . She said she’d accept at one condition :

 

but after he leave she his frustrated because he didn’t even removed his glasses .
As they approach Axis , Scirroco decide to cut the Argama’s route and finished them for good .

The fight then begins , Kamille oppose Yazan , and Quattro shoot aimlessly at the Dogosse Gear . but none of the shoot reach it.

 

Suddenly , and rain of shoot start to fall , shooting everything .

the Rain is made by unknown mobile Suit .

Scirroco decide to retreat .

Then the lead unit of the unknown MS examine the Rick Dias , the Zeta

 

and finally the Hyakku Shiki ,

saying that she was waiting for Char’s arrival and the he shall follow her and we get to see Haman

 

As they are following the Axis , Astonage approach Kamille and tell him that he will repair the Zeta .

 

The movie then ends with this scene

Overall , i think i’ll give this movie a 6.5 / 10 and that , because i am a gundam fan
this movie speed his incredible and for those who haven’t seen the original serie , this could look like total crap . The good point his the new scene which are totally handsome , but the story and main plot his odd . Also , the Seiyu change is really disappointing . Actually , it’s odd , it might have been my hearing , but the old Four scene have the original voice , and the new scene have the new Seiyu , so when you pass from new scene to old scene and the voice change it’s totally not cool . Bad point !
Also , those error such as Fa in the G-defenser , 3 seconds later she is in a carrier.
And also the fact that Appoly give the Zeta to kamille to make-it up to him and not because it was built for Kamille , nor he mentioned the fact that it was build from the data kamille made.
oh , another good point i can think of is the ending , i totally love the song “mind forest” .

 

I’m looking forward to Zeta III hoping it will be better even tough i do not like how it will end .

 

PS : This post has been written on my old blog the 3/20/2006 . being my first actual real review , i felt like re-posting it here . Zeta III as not been subbed so far and the raw i had for it was not of the best quality and my understanding is still not perfect ( let’s face it , i don’t understand japanese ) . That’s why i will wait for the sub to review it but i can already say this : the ” A new translation” serie as totally been butchered . But i guess that this is one should expect when you watch a movie made with a 50 episode serie .
